From North Korea to North Vancouver

A new exhibition in North Vancouver takes a closer look at what it takes to make everything from shirts to carbon credits for consumers.

The CBC's Jennifer Chen visited the exhibit and spoke with the artist, Dirk Fleischmann about why he went to the Kaesong Industrial Complex to make shirts and to observe the working conditions in North Korea.

Dirk Fleischmann's exhibition is on display at the Cafe for Contemporary Art at 140 Esplanade E in North Vancouver until August 24. It is open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays and holidays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
