Lac-Mégantic derailment investigators search railway's offices

Quebec provincial police investigators are at the offices of Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway as a part of their ongoing investigation into the fatal train derailment in Lac-Mégantic, Que.

Police Sgt. Benoit Richard confirmed that police had a warrant and they will be seizing evidence.

The MM&A's offices are in Farnham, Que., about hour east of Montreal.

Authorities said the investigation is a part of standard procedure and that more information will be provided at a 4 p.m. ET news conference.
