The CBC Montreal Do Crew is gearing up for its biggest event yet!

We'll be working with Comfort Keepers at a mini-putt golf tournament to raise money for the Alzheimer Society of Montreal.

We need 18 volunteers — one person for each of the 18 mini-putt holes— to help encourage the teams, keep score and keep things fun.

All the proceeds raised will go towards funding the day centres run by the Alzheimer Society of Montreal.

These day centres give a much needed break to caregivers of people suffering from Alzheimer's, while the patients receive a day of activities and a lunch with friends.

There is currently a waiting list at two of these centres in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Montreal North.

The mini-putt golf tournament takes place Sunday, Aug. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Golf Dome West Island, located at 3000 Edmond St. in Kirkland.
