The busy, downtown intersection at King Street and Spadina Avenue will be closed starting Tuesday morning for two weeks.

The four-way closure starts August 6 at 10 a.m. to allow construction crews to replace some of the TTC tracks in the area.

The intersection will reopen Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6 a.m.

In the meantime, King Street's eastbound traffic will detour on Bathurst, Portland or Brant Streets, and westbound traffic on John, Peter or Charlotte Streets.

Spadina Avenue's northbound traffic will detour on Bremner Boulevard, Blue Jays Way or Front Street, and its southbound traffic on Queen, Richmond or Adelaide Streets.

Pedestrians will still be able to access businesses and walkways around the intersection.
