Her Fans Want Him Dead

It seems Deadmau5 now has two legions of fans wishing the worst on him. After rubbing Justin Bieber fans the wrong way last month, Deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman, dissed Lady Gaga for a video she did with performance artist Marina Abramovic on Wednesday.

As reported by NME and found on Deadmau5's Twitter account, the musician tweeted with a link to "The Abramovic Method By Lady Gaga," a video showing Lady Gaga holding a note for seconds while lying on a hardwood floor and then standing in a brook. Although NME reported Deadmau5 removed the tweet, it still remains on his account.

"What the actual fu*k?" Deadmau5 tweeted with the video link. "If some idiot howls in the woods and noones around, does it make a sound? MYTH BUSTED?" A subsequent tweet added, "im inspired... gunna go bark at the moon for a bit, get back in the studio, bark at my computer screen and make duck noises. im an ARTIST!"

Moments later, Gaga's "Little Monsters" took to defend their idol and launched verbal attacks via Twitter towards Deadmau5. But the tweets only kept Zimmerman going.

"Last week at a three-day retreat in upstate New York, Marina instructed Lady Gaga in the Abramovic Method -- a series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment," a statement on the video page reads. "Marina Abramovic Institute (MAI) will be the first space dedicated to practising the Abramovic Method, which prepares participants to both perform and observe long durational work."

During the deluge of tweets and replies. He added a few more tweets including one with a photo entitled "MAXIMUM TROLLING" which irked even more fans of Lady Gaga.

Deadmau5 angered Beliebers last month when he tweeted he had touched Bieber's hand at a party in Toronto. He also said Bieber -- who he referred to as "that little prick" -- had ruined any chance Deadmau5 had of appearing on the popular BBC program Top Gear.

Lady Gaga didn't respond to Deadmau5 who recently performed at Toronto's Veld Festival. Lady Gaga, for her part is gearing up for the release of her new studio album ARTPOP later this year.
