RVs Crash In Northern Alberta, Leave Two Clinging To Life

SMOKY LAKE, Alta. - Mounties say a motorhome towing a small vehicle and a truck pulling a travel trailer have crashed on a highway northeast of Edmonton.

The collision happened about 11 a.m. on Highway 28 outside the town of Smoky Lake.

Sgt. Josee Valiquette says at least four people were inside the vehicles.

Two of them have serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

STARS air ambulance was taking one patient to an Edmonton hospital.

Part of the highway is closed to traffic.
