Whitney McClintock, Ryan Dodd take gold at Canadian waterski championships

CALGARY - Whitney McClintock of Cambridge, Ont., won the women's slalom and Ryan Dodd Olds, Alta., took the men's jump on Saturday at the Canadian waterski championships.

McClintock beat Karen Truelove of the U.S. in the head-to-head slalom final to win the prestigious shootout belt buckle.

Meanwhile, Dodd's first of two jumps was 66.8 metres were enough to clinch the gold medal.

In the men's slalom final, Nate Smith of the U.S. took the top spot.
