Child Porn Sentence For Kelowna Radio Host

Former Kelowna radio personality Darren Robertson has been sentenced to nine months in jail for possession of child pornography.

Robertson was arrested in an international police operation that busted a worldwide child porn ring. He was sentenced in Kelowna provincial court this morning.

Darren Robertson, who used the on-air name Doc Roberts, worked at a Kelowna radio station as a program director. Most recently, he worked as a radio news anchor in Calgary.

He has been honoured as Music Director of the Year several times in the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards.
