MONTREAL - About 10,000 people attended a benefit concert in support of Lac-Megantic, Que., Tuesday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Tickets were $50 with the proceeds going to a fund to help the town recover from the devastating train derailment on July 6.

The performers included several Quebec artists such as Garou, Jonas and The Massive Attraction, Gino Chouinard and others.
The show will be broadcast on Aug. 25 on the four major networks in Quebec — Radio-Canada, TVA, V and Tele-Quebec.
