DAWSON CREEK, B.C. - Yet another motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on B.C. roads — the fourth person to die in a motorcycle crash in two days.

The latest fatal crash happened Tuesday in Chilliwack, when a 72-year-old man from Pitt Meadows lost control when attempting to stop as he approached slower moving traffic.

A news release says the man slid into an SUV that was stopped in traffic and died at the scene.

Police officers were two kilometres away at another crash, in which a car left the road and two occupants fled on foot.

Early Tuesday morning, a motorcyclist died after losing control of his machine while riding through the City of Nelson.

And on Sunday night, 57-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman from Sexsmith, Alta., were killed near Dawson Creek, B.C., when their motorcycle veered into the path of an oncoming pickup truck that was towing a livestock trailer.

No names have been released.
