HuffQuiz: The Huffington Post Canada's Trivia Hall Of Fame

The Huffington Post Canada
First Posted: 01/27/2012 1:38 pm EST Updated: 04/11/2014 3:44 pm EDT

We've got double the Hall of Fame trouble this week with two newly-minted HuffQuiz champions in our books.

In one corner is Carrie Rowbotham, a retired teacher who loves life, sun, sand and such, as well as white wine.

Over in the other corner we introduce Geoff Proud, a self-described info junkie with a voracious appetite for current events (it obviously paid off).

A big, hearty congratulations to our winners and their new place in our HuffQuiz history!

Here's the skinny on HuffQuiz:

Every Friday at 8 p.m. ET, HuffPost Canada marks the good, bad and downright weird in the week that was — with an old-time news quiz.

We ask FIVE questions from the news file — any event from the week that just ended.

The first reader to tweet the right answer back, gets the point. Most points at the end of five, gets the crown.

Just make sure you include the #HUFFQUIZ hashtag in your answer to make it count!

The prize?

Bragging rights!

And, of course, a big shout-out on Twitter. Not to mention a hardy hello right here, in our Hall Of Fame, posted to our front page.

Good luck and happy HuffQuizzing.
