Police search for suspect in Dorval armed robbery

Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect in an armed robbery in Dorval.

Montreal police are looking for a man in his 20s who they say was involved in an incident at an Esso gas station on des Sources Boulevard on Aug. 13.

Officers said the suspect pulled into the gas station at about 1:30 p.m. in a stolen Range Rover and filled up the tank.

When the man went to leave without paying, a staff member tried to stop him.

Witnesses said that's when a fight broke out and the suspect returned to the vehicle to retrieve a firearm, which he pointed at the staff member and witnesses.

The suspect eventually fled without paying.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.

The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
