Aishwarya Rai was totally gorgeous even before she became known as the Most Beautiful Woman in the World.
The 39-year-old posted a black and white photo on Facebook which showed the young Bollywood star standing next to her elder brother, Aditya Rai.
Ash captioned the pic: "Raksha Bandhan wishes to everyone!" referring to the Hindu festival that celebrates the relationships between brothers, cousins and sisters.
The family-oriented star, who has been on a break from filming movies to take care of her daughter, is a bit hard to recognize without the glamorous gowns and seductive stare but her beauty shone through with her recognizable light eyes and bright smile.
While we're not sure how old the "Bride and Prejudice" star was in the flashback pic, the style maven was clearly on her way to becoming one of the most glamorous women in the world who would one day become a Miss World winner, a Cannes Film Festival regular and the owner of one of the most enviable sari collections in the world. (And we can't forget one of her greatest achievements: Raising her beautiful daughter, Aaradhya.)
Aishwarya wasn't the only Bollywood star to celebrate Raksha Bandhan; her heir apparent, Priyanka Chopra, shared a photo of herself and her brother on Instagram and wrote "Happy Rakhi my darling bro.. Now the man of the house..love u..miss u dad.."
