REGINA - Saskatchewan's auditor has changed her mind again.

Bonnie Lysyk (LIH'-sihk) had indicated in June that she was leaving her job to become auditor general of Ontario.

Lysyk said she wanted to be closer to her daughter, who planned to go to university in Ontario, but in July, she said she wasn't going and would instead stay in Saskatchewan.

On Monday, it was announced that she will follow through on her original decision to serve as auditor for Ontario.

Lysyk said in a news release that it has been a difficult personal and professional decision for her to leave Saskatchewan, which is why she reversed her original decision.

But now she says for personal reasons, she will take the Ontario job, effective Sept. 3.

Lysyk, who was born and raised in Manitoba, served in that province's auditor general's office for nearly seven years.

She was appointed as Saskatchewan's auditor in April 2011.
