Brody Jenner, our favourite Canadian-by-association, is known for several things: his model-looks, his model girlfriends and for breaking Lauren Conrad's heart on "The Hills."

The curly-haired cutie has had a pretty sweet life since the MTV reality show ended its six-season run in 2010. He dated and broke up with Avril Lavigne (and he holds no grudges against his ex for marrying Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger), he guest stars on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and he goes on vacation. A lot.

And now, the impossibly good-looking reality star has even more reason to party; Kim Kardashian's step-brother turns the big 3-0 on Wednesday. Like any true bro, Jenner (whose first name is actually Sam) got the party started before his birthday in (where else?) Las Vegas.

The modelizer ditched his trademark fitted suits and skinny ties for a laid back tee-and-jeans ensemble which makes sense because you don't want to get your Pabst beer all over a Hugo Boss suit now do you?

But Bruce Jenner's son wasn't always so fashion-conscience.

In fact, the former "Princes of Malibu" star was a huge, HUGE, fan of baggy jeans which looked as if they were transported straight from a '90s rapper's wardrobe.

So, in honour of our favourite "The Hills" star (sorry Speidi), we take a look at how Brody transformed into a hottie with a cool wardrobe:
