Baby dies after police receive call of possible drowning

Toronto police say a 10-month-old child has died, after being rushed to hospital without vital signs on Wednesday.

Late Wednesday morning, police received a call about a possible drowning at a building at 200 Dufferin St., south of King Street.

Police reported that the baby was rushed to hospital, but later said the child had died.

It was not immediately clear where the child was found when emergency responders were called.
