Drake Sued: Stylist Lawsuit Claims Over $75,000 Owed

Pay Me Later? Drake Sued By Stylist For Over $75,000

Drake once rapped that he was "25, sitting on 25 mill" but that apparently doesn't mean he pays all his bills, bills, bills. At least that's according to his former stylist Michael Raphael who is suing the Toronto rapper for over $76,000.

According to TMZ, Raphael is claiming Drake "hired him in August 2012 for consulting services at a monthly rate of $39,583 -- services that include styling, clothing and graphic design for Drake's company OVO, brand direction, photography, etc."

Raphael's lawsuit, filed in New York, says Drake stopped payments last November, saddling him with December expenses "including consulting services, hotel bills, plane tickets, and endless shopping" which exceeded his monthly salary by nearly $40,000. He's asking to be reimbursed a grand total of $76,490, as well as a penalty for breach of contract.

Drake has not yet commented on the lawsuit. But considering he mostly wears his own OVO owl Ts or ugly Cosby sweaters, that $40K a month salary may have been a bit much.
