As Hollywood's biggest stars roll into town for the Toronto International Film Festival, local hotels are taking steps to ensure that they are well looked after.

At the Ritz-Carlton, extra staff — including valets, seamstresses and dry cleaners — have been brought in to accommodate the needs of high-profile festival guests.

The downtown hotel is also charging premium prices for their top services and accommodations.

During the festival, the hotel’s top suite is being priced at $9,000, well up from the $6,000 a night it normally goes for.
