Alberni Highway Crash Kills 3

PORT ALBERNI, B.C. - A single-car crash on Vancouver Island has killed three people.

RCMP say the incident happened on Highway Four, west of Port Alberni, just before 4 p.m. Sunday.

Details are sketchy but investigators say the car veered off the twisting highway between Port Alberni and Tofino.

It then rolled and burned.

All three people in the car died.

Names, ages and hometowns of the victims have not been released. (CFAX)
