Is this the end of Sad Keanu Reeves?
Judging by the tepid smile on "The Matrix" star's face at the Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday, we may be entering the era of Happy Keanu.
The 49-year-old was at TIFF 2013 in support of his directorial debut, "Man of Tai Chi," a martial arts romp that takes place in Hong Kong. (We wonder: Did the Canadian-raised actor use his Neo kung-fu skills?)
Keanu certainly looked as if he took inspiration from the character that arguably made him one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood by wearing an all-black ensemble consisting of a loose blazer, trousers, t-shirt and tanned shoes. The only thing missing was the trench coat!
Unlike some celebs at TIFF who shaved off their beards (ahem, Brad Pitt), Reeves pulled a Jake Gyllenhaal and kept his scruffy but sexy facial hair where it belonged.
