The Duchess of Cambridge wore a sparkling silver Jenny Packham gown to the Tusk Foundation Gala dinner on Thursday, looking happier and prettier than ever.
Sporting her signature wavy hair, simple makeup and a fab pair of sequined heels, the Duchess dazzled the crowd alongside husband Prince William, who looked every inch the heir to the throne in a classic tux.
Update: Prince William addressed the attendees of the gala, saying:
"As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents – of a baby who has a voice to match any lion's roar!" the proud dad, 31, said to applause, asking that guests pardon the couple's anxiety.
This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home."
The couple have a lot to celebrate; William recently completed his service with the British armed forces after more than 7 1/2 years of service as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot. The royal couple and their new baby are moving from their Anglesey home to Kensington Palace within the next few weeks.
This event marks the first black tie function the couple have attended since the birth of the future King of England and it's not surprising that Kate looks this amazing; just weeks after giving birth, Middleton was photographed without a hint of a bump.
We predict that sequined clothes will be all the rage for fall fashion 2013!
