"The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" star almost had a serious wardrobe malfunction on Thursday when a low cut Calvin Klein dress, which was covered in a sheer fabric, nearly revealed the actress', um, assets.
The 28-year-old, who was at a Calvin Klein post-show event for New York Fashion Week, looked stunning despite the near mishap in the fall 2013-ready LBD with her hair pulled tightly back into a ponytail and with a nearly bare face save for a dramatic smokey eye and nude lipstick.
The two-time Vogue covergirl's simple but elegant ensemble continues her signature minimalist style, which includes a lot of monochrome and avant-garde textures and shapes.
While "The Social Network" star is known for her edgy fashion, Rooney's sister Kate Mara goes for classic, figure -flattering shapes and bright pops of colour when she hits up a red carpet.
