The six-month investigation, named Project ROVER, involved RCMP, the Ontario Provincial Police, the Canada Border Services Agency and police forces from Toronto, Peel Region, York Region and London, Ont.
Police say the operation focused on a criminal group involved in trafficking and distributing cocaine and firearms in the Greater Toronto Area, including Pearson International Airport
Eleven people were arrested and are facing a total of 122 drug and weapons related charges.
Officers also seized seven kilograms of cocaine, four pounds of marijuana, six firearms, residential properties and high-end vehicles. Police say the marijuana was destined for the Prairies.
"Criminal activity crosses policing jurisdictions," Inspector Graham Symington of Peel Regional Police said in a press release. "When warranted, it is important for law enforcement agencies to pool resources to fight crime."
