TERRACE, B.C. - One mushroom picker has been found but his friend remains missing more than two weeks after the two disappeared near Terrace in the northwestern B.C.

RCMP Const. Angela Rabut says 32-year-old Michael Sabo and 26-year-old Ike Murray failed to return to a boat left near a creek along the Skeena River Sept. 22.

A third member of the mushroom-picking party waited several hours for the men to return but eventually left and reported them missing.

Rabut says CN railway workers found Murray late Monday afternoon near the community of Cedarvale, which is located northeast of Terrace.

She says he's been transported to a local hospital and is now in stable condition.

Rabut says police and members of Terrace Search and Rescue are on the scene and are resuming their search for Sabo.
