The CBC Montreal Do Crew will be out in style this month as we help out with a wine tasting and silent auction fundraiser.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island has been helping kids since 1975. The organization recruits, trains and matches potential mentors with children with the goal of enhancing a child's self-esteem, social skills and lifestyle habits.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, the group will take over the Montreal Art Centre in Griffintown for an evening fundraiser. The Montreal Do Crew will be along to help and we are looking for 10 volunteers to accomplish that.

If you're interested in lending a hand, here is what you need to know:

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 5:30–10 p.m.
WHERE: Montreal Art Centre, 1844 William Street in Griffintown
WHAT: Possible duties include helping with set-up, serving of wine and hors d'oeuvres, clearing plates and glasses and helping with clean-up

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of this event, volunteers must be at least 18 years of age since we may be serving alcohol and it would be a bonus if volunteers have service experience

If you want to join us or if you'd just like to know more about the Do Crew you can contact Monique Lacombe by email monique.lacombe@cbc.ca
