Toronto man sought in Nuit Blanche stabbing

He is described as about five feet, eight inches tall, 180 pounds, with thin, medium-length brown hair. Police did not provide a photo or sketch.

Police are also looking for two other men — known only by the nicknames Yoda and Munchies — as persons of interest in the case.

He and a group of friends were earlier at a "pop-up rave" near the intersection of Queen Street West and University Avenue, said police, where they were involved in an altercation with another group. The fight was broken up, after which Khalid and a friend walked south and then east on Richmond. On Richmond they encountered another eastbound group — it is unclear of they were followed from the rave, police say — and a second conflict erupted, during which Khalid was stabbed.

He was transported to hospital, but pronounced dead on arrival.

Anyone who sees Lozada is asked to call 911. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts, or other information, is asked to contact the police at (416) 808-7400, or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS (8477). Police continue to sort through video footage and other evidence.
