HALIFAX - Voting has been extended at polling stations in two Nova Scotia ridings because of a car accident and fire alarm.

Elections Nova Scotia says two polling stations in Halifax Atlantic will be open until 9 p.m. because of a crash that knocked down a power line.

A polling station in the riding of Pictou Centre will be open until 8:30 p.m. because of a fire alarm.

Most other polls in the province are now closed.
