Cloudy days for B.C., showers hold off until Saturday

There is a nice mix of sun and clouds to start the day off, but an approaching frontal system will continue to push clouds in toward Wednesday afternoon for an overcast evening, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

Some showers may turn up overnight across the South Coast, but they will be very scattered and light at best. Sun will return for a nice mix Thursday afternoon, but clouds will be back for Friday.

Saturday is our best chance for showers, when the cold front finally moves through, but we then have a great looking sunny forecast for Sunday and the holiday Monday.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal for the next few days in the 13 C to 14 C range, before recovering to mid-teens starting Sunday.
