RCMP have ruled out foul play, after an unidentified man was found dead near Fort Nelson, B.C. on Saturday, in a car rented 1,500 kilometres away in Surrey.

The man's body was discovered in a rest area about 24 kilometres south of Fort Nelson around 3:30 p.m. PT. in a grey 2013 Hyundai Sonata.

The vehicle had been rented in Surrey, B.C., five days earlier on Monday, Sept. 30.
