Quesnel Truck Bomb Intentional, Mounties Say

QUESNEL, B.C. - Mounties believe someone intentionally detonated an explosive device in a pickup truck outside a home in Quesnel, B.C.

Police say the vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residence and that the blast also damaged a window in front of the home.

The force of the explosion at 4 a.m. Wednesday awoke neighbours in the area.

Mounties say six homes have been evacuated as a precaution.

Police are calling on any witnesses to contact the RCMP.
