Just when we thought Mischa Barton was on her way to making a fashion comeback, she let us down.
The former "The O.C." star walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new film, "I Will Follow You Into The Dark," at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The actress was wearing a too-tight fit-and-flair skirt with a floral print by Canadian designer (and Kate Middleton fav) Erdem, with black peep-toe pumps and a very sheer black tank top (taking style cues from Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Hudson perhaps?).
The 27-year-old's look wasn't all bad though. The London-born actress kept her makeup fairly neutral (with the exception of some heavy eyeliner), and showed off her clear complexion. Barton also kept her hair styled in loose, natural waves, evoking her Marissa Cooper past.
We're really rooting for Barton to reclaim her stylish status, though this look just falls a little flat. But hey, at least she's not wearing mom jeans.
It's only a matter of time before Mischa gets back on top of her fashion game, and we can't wait to see it happen.
What do you think of this ensemble?
Maybe Marissa Cooper can provide some fashion inspiration:
