22 Minutes Suggests Conservatives Use 'Expenstagram' App (VIDEO)

WATCH: A New App For Tories -- 'Expenstagram'

Sometimes it feels like every time you turn around there's a new controversy over expenses in Ottawa. Housing, travel, meals, campaign costs — it can be difficult to keep up.

That's why the crew at "22 Minutes" have come up with a new app — "Expenstagram" — designed specifically for Tory caucus members and senators.

In a preview of Tuesday's show, comedian Shaun Majumder plays a member of the Upper Chamber who can't wait to take a photo of his "senators-only lobster special."

But beyond shots of expensive food, the app also allows politicians to alter their expenses and get them "looking their best" — an obvious dig at ousted Tory MP Dean Del Mastro.

Tories are told they can also "take a photo of your province and make it look like your house is there," which pokes fun at the controversy surrounding the housing claims of former Conservative Senator Mike Duffy.

And if all else fails, Tories can just cover their photos in economic action plan ads.

This is the second week in a row "22 Minutes" has had some fun at the expense of the Conservatives. Last week, they suggested that if a movie is ever made about Senator Pamela Wallin, Al Pacino should play the pride of Wadena.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes airs on CBC TV Tuesday nights at 8:30 p.m. Catch more clips of the show on Facebook and Twitter.
