Avril Lavigne's favourite season must be fall because the singer decked herself out in all the hottest autumn trends on Tuesday.
The newlywed stood by husband Chad Kroeger at SiriusXM Studios in New York City wearing a smorgasbord of styles including tartan, leather and peplum. What did all these trends look like as one coherent outfit? Well, the 29-year-old Canadian looked a wee bit uncomfortable in a tight red-and-black peplum jacket, a figure-hugging leather skirt and black knee-high boots. In other words, the perfect outfit to wear in Canada.
But of course, Avril wouldn't be Avril unless she spiced things up with her hair. The "When You're Gone" singer styled her blond locks into a Skrillex-inspired look with bright pink braids and matching colourful tips.
Hubby Chad wasn't feeling fall colours as much as his wife was and opted for a black zip-up sweater, matching pants and boots and a white v-neck tee.
The Nickelback frontman was there to support Avril and their just-released duet "Let Me Go," which is the first single from her upcoming self-titled album.
