Person Found In Calgary Fire Was Sexually Assaulted, Say Police

CALGARY - Calgary police are investigating a violent sexual assault.

Officers say the victim was found Oct. 3, when they were called to a building fire.

The person was rushed to hospital with severe injuries.

Police say they’ve identified a suspect, but have not yet laid charges.

Investigators continue to talk to witnesses.
