The City of Toronto issued the following advisories:- In Etobicoke, the Halloween Bed Race will cause the closure of two westbound lanes of Bloor Street West from Prince Edward Drive to Royal York Road. The event sees teams in costumes wheel hospital beds in a charitable competition to support the Dorothy Ley Hospice, a palliative care facility. The road closure will last from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Further east on Bloor, two eastbound lanes will be closed from Jane Street to Windermere Avenue for the Toronto West Halloween Fest's parade and fun run. The four-kilometre race, also in costume, is in support of St. Joseph's Health Centre. The road closure lasts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- In Scarborough, Variety Village's annual Walk Roll Run fundraiser is keeping Danforth Avenue closed between Kingston Road and Birchmount Road from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Variety provides inclusive fitness and skills programs for people with and without disabilities.
Roads will also be closed in the Kensington Market area for the final Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington of the year. All of Kensington Avenue and parts of Augusta Avenue and Baldwin Street will be closed to cars from noon to 7 p.m. The north part of Augusta remains closed until 10 p.m.
