A man has been rushed to hospital after an apparent stabbing in the area of St. Clair Avenue West and Lansdowne Avenue on Monday evening.

Paramedics were called to the scene at about 6 p.m.

A Toronto EMS spokesperson said the victim was taken to hospital in serious condition, though his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Toronto police are reporting a road closure along Lansdowne Avenue between St. Clair Avenue and Davenport Road.

The TTC reported that buses were diverting along its 47 Lansdowne route as a result of the road closure.
