Looking to add a twist of something sexy to your Halloween plans in Vancouver this week? Then "Secrets Of The Penthouse" may just be the thing to tickle your fancy.
The Penthouse, Seymour Street's long standing strip club is offering a special Halloween edition guided tour of the premises, hosted by owner Danny Filippone and managed by local tour company, "Forbidden Vancouver".
Joining Filippone on Tuesday and Wednesday, will be historian Aaron Chapman, author of Liquor, Lust & The Law—The History Of The Legendary Penthouse Nightclub, and ex-VPD cop Grant McDonald, to tempt revelers with stories of vice raids, mobsters, bootlegging and, of course, the ghosts that haunts the property.
Tour the private rooms where, over the club's 66-year-history, celebrities have holed up when visiting Vancouver—Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr.... even Ella Fitzgerald has graced the Penthouse's confines. And then indulge in a spaghetti and meatball buffet, just like Mama Filippone used to make.
Now that IS scary!
