NDP vows to keep pressure on PM over Senate expenses

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair will continue to ask pointed questions of the prime minister until he "comes clean" with Canadians over the Senate expenses scandal, NDP Caucus Chair Peter Julian told reporters following the party's usual Wednesday meeting with caucus.

Mulcair, who is campaigning in Montreal Wednesday morning, is expected to return to Ottawa this afternoon in time for question period.

The Senate is considering an amendment that would see Senators Patrick Brazeau, Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin keep their medical benefits if they are suspended without pay.
