Happy birthday Aishwarya Rai!
Our favourite Bollywood style star turns the big 4-0 on Friday and we have to say that the screen legend has only gotten more beautiful since she became famous after winning the Miss World competition almost 20 years ago.
Not only has Ash achieved a highly lucrative film career ("Bride and Prejudice is one of our favourite movies) but she has successfully translated her movie stardom into red carpet prominence and a second career as a beauty idol with contracts with L'Oreal and Lux skincare. After all, this is the most Beautiful Woman in the World we're talking about!
But not all of Ash's- sorry, we mean Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's- accomplishments are materialistic.
The Cannes Film Festival regular gave birth to daughter Aaradhya in 2011 and has taken a break from movies to raise her wee one all the while posing on the red carpet on the regular and making beautiful ads.
