Animals escape burning barn on McGill's Macdonald campus

About 60 firefighters are working to put out a fire at McGill University's Macdonald Campus that started just before 6 a.m.

McGill tweeted this morning that they believe the fire began in the hay barn, but the cause is unknown.

Montreal fire chief Mario Drolet said part of the barn collapsed and two grain silos were damaged.

No people or animals were injured.
