Mainly dry for Halloween trick-or-treaters in Vancouver

Mainly dry skies and mild temperatures await those out and about tonight for Halloween, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

The light rain and mist that began falling last night will continue to taper off through most of the evening hours. The best chance for showers this evening will be out toward the Fraser Valley and possibly the North Shore for later on in the night. Temperatures will be fairly mild, between 8 C to 10 C for the evening hours.

By Friday night, a frontal system packing a fair bit of punch will move inland bringing 15 mm to 30 mm of rain to B.C.'s South Coast along with gusty winds right through to Sunday morning.
