Emergency response teams on the scene at Grouse Mountain

Emergency crews have been called to the Grouse grind this evening, CBC News has learned.

Police are investigating after a person was injured and early reports indicate the situation appears to be suspicious.

B.C. Ambulance Service says the incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. PT along the Grind.

Crews are on standby with life support units, according to B.C. Ambulance.

Vancouver fire crews are currently attempting to bring the person down the mountain.
