The Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines rarely hesitates to speak her mind, and the band's latest Canadian tour was no exception as she turned her attention to Toronto's controversial mayor.

"Wherever Mayor [Rob] Ford is tonight, whatever he's smoking, we send this out to him," Maines yelled near the beginning of the Chicks' Hamilton show on Saturday, said a concert review in the Hamilton Spectator.

Maines said she read a survey in The Huffington Post that said Canadians were the happiest people in the world, according to the Spec, but said that we seemed less happy now that Ford was in the news.

The band also shouted out to the mayor at their Oshawa show last Friday and at their Winnipeg show on Nov. 5.

Maines dedicated the hit song "Sin Wagon" to Ford at the Oshawa show, Examiner.com reported.
