Moffy (no last name needed) is leading a new wave of models who could radically change the fashion industry.
The hazel-eyed beauty, who also happens to be cross-eyed, has been signed as the new face of Storm Models - the agency that discovered Kate Moss and counts Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne and Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo as part of their roster.
Despite suffering from strabismus, a condition where the eyes aren't aligned with each other, the brunette stunner (who also goes by the name Brunette Moffy), landed the cover of Pop during the summer, after a friend recommended her to the magazine's editor.
"We chose to shoot her because we had recently shot with models and wanted a change," explained Pop photographer Tyrone LeBon of the decision to work with the newbie. "Moffy had never been photographed for a magazine and it's always exciting to work with someone when there is uncertainty about how it might work out."
It's encouraging to see that the fashion industry is starting to promote less conventional standards of beauty and this new coup could be the start of a more radical change within the rigid boundaries of modeling.
At the forefront of this wave of "different" models is Storm, who signed Andrej Pejić, an androgynous male model who often dresses as a woman on the runway and for magazine photo shoots.
