Daniel Clarke Bouchard, 13-year-old pianist, releases album

A 13-year-old boy from St-Lambert is launching his first CD today — Scènes d'enfants.

CBC's Jeanette Kelly chatted with musician Daniel Clarke Bouchard about his latest project.

The brown-eyed, bow-tied young man comes from a family of musicians.

He says he was inspired at the age of 7 to continue his piano lessons when he met Montreal-born jazz pianist Oliver Jones.

Now, the young musician is releasing a CD that includes duets with that very mentor.
