Calgary Teen Charged After Online Threats Made Against School

CALGARY - A minor has been charged following online threats that were made against staff and students at a Calgary high school.

Police say they became aware last Wednesday of threats that were made on a social media site.

A 15-year-old male student has been charged with possession of a weapon, threats and extortion.

He cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
