SHERWOOD PARK, Alta. - Police say an Edmonton-area highway where dozens of vehicles collided in heavy fog has reopened.

RCMP say debris has been cleared and about 40 vehicles, including semi-trailer rigs, have been towed from Highway 21 south of Sherwood Park.

Only minor injuries were reported.

Police say visibility was down to zero at the time of the chain-reaction crash.

Motorists are still being advised to be careful when driving through lingering fog patches.
