WINNIPEG - The Manitoba government has introduced a website for parents to check on what their children are learning.

The Manitoba Association of Parent Councils says the online tool can take a lot of pressure out of parent-teacher meetings.

Executive director Naomi Kruse says there are sometimes misunderstandings when parents aren't clear on what is being taught at school.

Kruse says other parents are looking for a better understanding of the complexities of learning.

Right now, the curriculum for Grade 4 is posted.

The other grades are to be added in the coming year.
