Police in Seattle arrested a lone man after boarding the Victoria Clipper IV passenger ferry, which was set adrift in Seattle's Elliott Bay Sunday morning.

The Seattle Police Department tweeted at 10:34 a.m. PT that a suspect had been taken into custody, just 10 minutes after confirming officers had made contact with a lone man aboard the vessel.

At 8:30 a.m. police said the U.S. Coast Guard had called in the force's bomb squad after reports came in of a suspicious person on the otherwise unoccupied ship.

The Victoria Clipper IV, a 130-foot-long passenger ferry, is based in Seattle and operates daily service to Victoria, B.C.
