Thousands of kids in need will be getting a teddy bear this Christmas thanks to Calgary Hitmen hockey fans.
On Sunday, the WHL hockey team held its 19th annual Teddy Bear Toss.
This year fans tossed almost 26,000 bears on to the ice after Pavel Padakin scored the team's first goal of the game in the second period.
Here's another look at the flurry of bears taken from the stands:
The fans weren't the only ones enjoying the toss. It looks like many of the Calgary Hitmen players also enjoyed the charity promotion.
